A Thank-You fom the MayorRoyal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead 12 December 2003 Dear Pat, I am writing to thank you most sincerely for inviting me to take part in the recording held at your home on Tuesday 9 December. I enjoyed meeting the speaker and the technical whizzkid and taking part in the broadcast. I deeply appreciate the work you are carrying out, there is a lot of planning and recording time involved. I sensed a strong friendship between the contributors which I think comes from a sense of working together to provide a most useful product for the people with visual impairment. Please give my good wishes to all members of the team. I wish you a Happy Christmas. Yours sincerely (signed) Mike Bruton, Mayor We were delighted that the Mayor was able to take part in our Christmas magazine and record a seasonal message for our VIPs (visually impaired persons). Technical whizzkid indeed! - RP See a photo of the Mayor's visit on our News Archive. |
Satisfied CustomerMaidenhead 9 December 2003 Dear "Talking Newspaper", A friend is writing this on my behalf because I wanted to say thank you so much for providing me with The Talking Newspaper each week. Because of my disability my only source of local news was the radio until a few months ago when I started receiving tapes from you. I am really appreciating listening to them and it has added a whole new dimension of enjoyment for me. Please accept my thanks to all the administrators, recording technicians and voices - what a wonderful job you are doing. May I also wish you a very Happy Christmas and New Year. Thank you.
